PhD/Postdoc Workshop
"Sustainable Finance Research Platform" meets "Sustainable Finance and Climate Protection"

We would like to invite you to an exciting PhD & Postdoc workshop in Hamburg. This workshop is a cooperation between two projects: the Sustainable Finance and Climate Protection project (sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research) and the Sustainable Finance Research Platform project (sponsored by the Stiftung Mercator).

The workshop's goal is to provide a platform for young researchers to find new research partners across interdisciplinary networks, learn about mastering the publication process and starting an academic career. The workshop opens with dinner and drinks on 15.11.2023 providing an opportunity to network with other researchers in the area of Sustainable Finance including the SFCP Steering Committee. The main part of the workshop will take place on 16.11.2023 and preliminarily includes: multiple chances to network with the other participants, a presentation on the review and resubmit process (Prof. Dr. Timo Busch), a roundtable on publication strategies with senior researchers, an informal discussion on academic careers with senior researchers and a joint dinner with all participants. The workshop ends with an optional "co-researching space" on 17.11.2023.

The final agenda will be sent to workshop participants by early September. The workshop is organized by the University of Hamburg (Prof. Dr. Timo Busch), the University of Kassel (Prof. Dr. Christian Klein) and the Verein für Umweltmanagement und Nachhaltigkeit in Finanzinstituten e.V. (VfU).
